Anambra guber: No faction in APGA, we are intact, says Victor Umeh

ALL Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), in Anambra State, has described as untrue, publications in some national newspapers that there is a crack in the party. Flanked by leaders of the party in the state, Director General, Obiano Campaign Organisation Chief Victor Umeh who spoke to newsmen, yesterday, in Awka during a press briefing in preparation for the party flag off of the governorship election campaign slated on second of October 2017 at Alex Ekweme square Awka, said that some persons were busy planting stories in the media suggesting that the party was factionalized. He also accused those behind the publication of allegedly maligning the Governor, Dr. Willie Obiano, in some of the publications. Urging the public to ignore such stories in the media, Umeh said that the party was intact.

APGA Logo “We unequivocally state that the APGA family in Anambra State under the leadership of Chief Victor Oye remains solidly unified, cohesive and intact. We wish to warn that any person or persons in the family that may lend themselves to the machinations of the enemy will be doing a great disservice to the party.” “Some of these decamped to other parties have beaten a retreat back to their original party. Unfortunately, in doing so, they have tried to impress their new masters through planted articles in newspapers and other malfeasance. We know that these persons have notched up notoriety in lies and propaganda and pride themselves so much in doing so. “This time particularly, their exit propaganda was to plant a highly noxious, obnoxious and vexatious story in a national newspaper portraying the APGA in Anambra State as having broken into factions.

The particular individual behind this heinous contraption knows that we know him. He also knows that all his life he has thrived on lies, brainless propaganda and worthless betrayal of friends and associates including those he has now run back to. We can only wish him and his co-travelers journey mercies to their original company,” Umeh added.
