“The debate will centre on the detailed manifesto and work plan of each candidate with the time frame of implementation which they are expected to present before Ndi-Anambra.”
The Chairman said only candidates who agreed to sign a social contract form would participate in the debate, adding that the contract would be reviewed every six months to ensure transparency and accountability.
Ulasi, while appreciating the national leadership of the body, headed by Akinloye Olufemi Oyegbola, for finding him worthy to lead the Anambra executive, advised the government and the organised public sectors to use APBN to achieve growth and greatness in Nigerian.
He also appealed to the federal government to intensify its efforts to curb the present criminality, banditry, kidnapping and other anti-social activities, stressing that the situation is currently posing serious challenges to various Institutes, institutions and societies within APBN.
Some of the state executive members, Chisom Imuchem, 1st Vice Chairman and Edmond Nkanu, 2nd Vice Chairman, that spoke on behalf of others, sought to create new values in their catchment areas through assisting government at all levels in their transformational offerings.
They noted that the planned debate would be streamed live on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and also live on National Televisions.
APBN National President, Akinloye Olufemi Oyegbola, was represented at the ceremony by Rawlings Ehumadu.
