Published by

THE Olori-Ebi of Fusengbuwa royal family, Otunba Adedokun Ajidagba, has passed a vote of confidence in the Awujale Interregnum Administrative Council (AIAC), chaired by the Ogbeni Oja of Ijebuland, Olorigun Sonny Kuku, on the role played in reconciling between the Olisa of Ijlebu-Ode, High Chief Rasheed Adesanya and the AIAC.

He made this known in Ijebu-Ode, saying that the posterity will not forget the steps taken by the council in making the longtime rancour settled amicably.

Ajidagba said that the reconciliation had promoted peace, unity and stability in the town, adding: “I commend Olorogun Sonny Kuku for the role and his team played at making things work as it’s expected.

He assured the contestants that the kingmakers would not be biased in the selection of the next Awujale, as he advised them to imbibe the spirit of sportsmanship whenever any one of them emerged.

He further assured the council that the Funsegbuwa ruling house is in its support with all the steps taken in recent times as regards the smooth selection of the new Awujale.
