LARGE turnout of Party members was witnessed during the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential primaries in Kaduna State.

In most of the voting centres at the state metropolis, the exercise was carried out peacefully as party members affirmed the candidacy of President Muhammadu Buhari.

At the Gabasa voting centre held at LEA primary school Unguwar Rimi the returning officer, Alh Aminu Kudan raised the picture of the President and the tumultuous crowd shouted Sai Buhari! He asked the crowd, do you agree that Buhari should be our Presidential candidate in 2019 and they shouted ‘Yes’.

Kudan, therefore, affirmed that based on the powers conferred on him as the returning officer in the ward he had affirmed the decision of the ward.

In his own remark, el-Rufai thanked the party members for the support given to the President, saying, if he gets back to the office, he will communicate to the President the decision of the people of Kaduna.
