76-year-old mother of ex-Super Eagles coach, two others kidnapped in Bayelsa

Madam Ogere Siasia, mother of former Super Eagles striker and coach, Samson Siasia has been abducted by unknown gunmen, alongside two other close family members.

The two other victims whose names were given as Florence Dounana, age 65, and her daughter Selekere Dounana, age 17, are close family members of the Siasias’.

Tribune Online gathered that the 76 years old and the two other victims were abducted at about 2 am, Monday morning from their family home in Odoni, Sagbama Local Government of Bayelsa State.

Tribune Online also learnt that Madam Ogere Siasia, was first kidnapped in November 2015 and her released was secured after 12 days in captivity.

A close family member confirmed the development, stating that the incident happened at midnight while she was sleeping at her home town.

He also said he made several calls back home to know more on recent developments and will provide same as soon as possible.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Asinimv Butswat, was yet to issue a statement at the time of filing this report. All effort to reach him via telephone proved abortive as he didn’t take calls or return text messages sent to him.
