NOT fewer than 4,000 patients are expected to benefit from a free medical intervention sponsored by the Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara as part of his contribution to the well being of the people of his constituency in Bauchi State in an intervention which is in collaboration with a Non-Governmental Organisation, Doctors On the Move-Africa.
The exercise which began on Sunday at the Primary Health Center Badagari in Bogoro Local Government Area of the state has witnessed an impressive turn out of patients from the three local government areas that make up for Federal Constituency of the state.
While speaking on the development, Leader of the medical team, Dr Haruna Joseph Kigbu, who was represented by Attah Emmanuel, said over 500 patients were attended to by the Doctors and other health officials on the first day.

He said that about 15 Doctors, Nurses and Pharmacists were on ground attending to the needs of the patients.
The Leader of the team called on all patients to avail themselves with the services being provided by the health personnel for their well being.
Also commenting on the exercise, Dr Dan Kumbugu, who is in charge of Theatre, said over 20 surgeries had been conducted.
Some of the patients and relatives who spoke on the exercise commented the Speaker for sustaining the gesture of providing free medical services to the people.
Yakubu Dogara, who is the member representing the Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa Federal Constituency in the state has been conducting free medical services in the state every year.
