Nigeria shall be great, says Oluwadare

federal governmentIt’s not over for Nigeria regardless of the myriad of challenges facing the nation, General Overseer of Christ Redemption Bible Church (CRBC) Pastor John Oluwadare has declared.

He expressed disgust at the level of desperation among Nigerians, especially those seeking greener pasture overseas.

Declaring God was not done with Nigeria yet, Oluwadare stated that the nation would still become a place of envy for all.

The cleric spoke at the weekend with reporters ahead of the 21st convention of the church with the theme: Multiple Grace.

The convention is slated for October 17-21 at the Ketu, Lagos international headquarters of the church.

Oluwadare said: “I am so sad that many are writing off Nigeria. I stand as a man of God to say that it is not over for Nigeria.

“God loves this nation so much that He will not give up on it. This nation will still attract the envy of others. God will turn our captivity around.

“But  I am sorry for those who are relocating because when God restores us, there will be no space for them again.”

Urging Nigerians not to lose hope in the country, the cleric said God had a special interest in Nigeria and gave assurances that if the nation returned to God, things would charge positively for the masses.

“What we need to do is to call for a genuine national prayer and I can assure you that Nigeria will be better than any nations of the world, if we all go back to God in prayers,” he said.

He also cautioned Nigerians to stop condemning political leaders, saying the people should rather continue to pray for them, asking God to direct their paths as they lead the country.

According to him, the only way out of the present quagmire is for Nigerians to go to God in prayers.

On the church’s 21st convention, he said this year’s convention will centre on three important things.  First, there will be revival, leading to the salvation of souls both within the community and beyond.

“Secondly, we will be praying for the country, asking God to intervene and bless Nigeria.”

The cleric also said the convention would be used to raise funds for the development of its camp ground along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
