RwandAir, the only East African airline operating into Nigeria has assured the Nigerian traveling public of a seamless and better flying experience as Christmas and New Year draw nearer
This is just as the African carrier has promised not to abandon Nigeria in the face of the ongoing economic challenges confronting the most populous African country.
In an exclusive interview with the Nigerian Tribune in Lagos, the Country Manager, RwandAir, Nigeria, Ms Ibiyemi Odusi while dropping the hint on how the airline intended to make the Yuletide period memorable for its Nigerian travellers, declared that among the incentives to be enjoyed include a 30 per cent discount off the fares on the Lagos/Kigali route.
Speaking on how the airline has prepared to confront the huge traffic synonymous with festive period, Odusi declared: “We are ready. The first Airbus with much improved capacity is now in the fleet. We are offering 30 per cent discount presently as a way of giving back to all valued customers.
Odusi who was reacting to the decision of some foreign airlines to leave the Nigerian market in view of the present economic recession facing it and what has kept the East African carrier going, attributed the feat largely to the decision of the airline to remain ‘focussed, working through the present challenges and believing in the economy of Nigeria that it will always rebound.”
Talking on what distinguished RwandAir from other African airlines, the Nigerian born Country Manager identified non compromising position on safety, on time performance and core values of integrity as the airline’s selling point.
Still speaking on what makes the airline different, Odusi maintained: “Don’t forget we are the only airline from East Africa with free wifi and mobile network onboard on our A330 with flat bed in business and luxury Premium economy cabin.
