A Ugandan comedian, Salvador, has said that the Nigerian movies were gaining popularity in Ugandan especially among rich people.
Salvador was a guest performer at the recently held Glo Laffta Fest in Lagos. Performing among other Nigerian comedians caused an uproar when he said rich people like giving their dogs nice Nigerian names “…like RMD”.
Hosted at the Eko Hotels and Suites, the event was attended by the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism, Alhaji Lai Mohamed and the Lagos State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Steve Ayorinde, among other dignitaries.
Nollywood actor, Richard Mofe-Damijo, (RMD) was also in attendance.
Seven other A-list stand-up comedians, who performed at the event include Princewill, Frank D Don, Bash d Cash, Arinze Baba, Dan D’Humorous, I go Dye and Gordons.
