Chairman of the committee set up to celebrate the tenth anniversary of the passing of the founder of the Celestial church of christ (CCC) worldwide, S.B.J. Oshoffa, Ademola Bolaji, has urged nigerians to have hopr, stating that the current recession would soon be a thing of the past.
He stated this at a press briefing organised by a youth arm of the C.C.C., Greater Tomorrow Group and Bilewu Oshoffa Legacy Team (GTG-BOLT), as part of activities to also mark the 70th anniversary of the CCC.
Speaking at the briefing in Lagos, the chairman, Platinum Aniversary, Bolaji who lamented that the church had derailed from its laid-down rules and regulations by the founder of the church, noted that such had threatened the unity of the church.
He, however, noted that there was still hope “because the Lord would restore its glory.”
Responding to questions on the objectives of the platinum anniversary, the chairman expressed that it was a great pleasure to celebrate what the Lord had done within the church and among its people.
“This programme is organised to know our roots; the source where we all emanated from. God has shown his power to us in various forms and He has given us the grace to celebrate the anniversary. It is our prayer that it shall be succesful and all things shall turn around for our salvation.”
Ademola also counselledChristians to be more knowledgable in the scripture, adding that “If Nigerians could come together in truth, and in truth we do things, recession will be a thing of the past.”
