Ondo 2016: Buhari to visit Ondo for APC flag-off campaign

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, on Wednesday disclosed that the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari, will attend the official flag-off campaign of its governorship candidate in the forthcoming election, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu.

This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the state Publicity Secretary,  Abayomi Adesanya, who disclosed that  the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo; the National Chairman of the Party, Chief John Oyegun; National Leader of the Party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Senate President, Bukola Saraki; the Speaker House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara will also attend the rally slated for Democracy Park.

Adesanya said, “The President’s visit is not only to campaign for the victory of his party’s candidate, but also to show appreciation to the people of Ondo State.”

“The party urged the good people of the state, party members, to troop out en masse to welcome the people’s President and his team to Ondo State, as we wish them journey mercies.”
