The All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Ondo State to pick its candidate for the forthcoming governorship election in the state has been shifted.
This was contained in a statement issued and signed by the state’s Publicity Secretary, Abayomi Adesanya, who said the election would now hold on Wednesday, August 31, 2016,
According to him, the election was shifted due to logistics and said the decision was communicated to the state chapter at the end of the emergency National Working Committee meeting.
The primaries of the APC was scheduled to hold on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
No fewer than 25 aspirants have shown interest in picking the ticket of the party.
