A family of four was consumed by early morning fire outbreak on Thursday in Lagos.
The mother, identified as Hope, was killed alongside her three children while the husband, known as Ignatius suffered first degree burns.
The incident occured at about 2:38 a.m. at shop B23 Ogunleye Street off Adekunle Kuye Street, Kilo Bus Stop Surulere.
LASEMA said it was investigating the incident.
Witnesses said the family was resident in the burnt shop which was also being used for laundry services.
The bodies of the children, Chukwuka, (9yrs); Nonso (7yrs); and Ugochukwu (6yrs) have been recovered by officials of the Lagos emergency agency.
Ignatius is receiving treatment at LASUTH.
Bodies of the deceased have been handed over to Aguda Police Station.
Adesina Tiamiyu, General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, said proper investigation would be done.
