What we do for ourselves dies with us, but what we do for others remains as immortal. These words of Albert Pike hold true for Limpopo singer, Kcee and co-founder of Five Star Music as he launched the Five Star Foundation aimed at creating and implementing advocacy programme, raising awareness on topical issues and executing projects in line with essential services in the communities.
With increasing demand for assistance in areas of fundamental human existence elements such as food, shelter, healthcare and education, Kcee, who is wraping up plans to drop his second studio album, ‘Attention to Detail’ said the Five Star group, headed by his younger sibling, E-Money would use the proceeds to better the lives of the downthrodden and part of which would be used to fund his campaign project.
It will be recalled that the Pull Over exponent, last week, announced his intention to contest the Anambra State governorship election, appreciating the outpour of love and suport he had recieved since he made his intention known.
Speaking on his plan to run, Kcee said he realised that one could not make immense impact without influence, hence his decision to embark on the journey that to get to the position where he can take the right decisions that will favour all.
“I am not perfect and I do not claim to have all it takes but my heart is pure and my intentions genuine. I will submerge myself in the coming months to seeking neccessary counsel and support in achieving this goal.I encourage every youth and my fans to join this movement of contributing our quota to the rescue of this great nation,” he said.
