THE Federal Government needs to improve its investment in infrastructural development such as power, rail and road as most of the other sectors’ performance depends on them.
The government should also invest more in science and technology to boost innovation and meet up with world standard in service delivery, just as it needs to pay special attention to the educational sector at all levels to facilitate production of high quality manpower for industry and entrepreneurship.
These were some of the resolutions in a communique at the end of the 2017 Annual Reunion Conference of the Obafemi Awolowo University Muslim Graduates’ Association (UNIFEMGA), held in Ile-Ife, between Friday, May 5 and Sunday, May 7.
In the cpommunique, signed by the president, Abdulwaheed Odeyimka and Public Relations Officer, Mohammed Buari, the conference emphasised that for ease of doing business, there is the need for the people to follow the injunction of Islam to uphold essential values, such as integrity, justice, honesty, proper documentation and mutual respect.
