THE Federal Government held talks with clearing agents and truck owners on Sunday in Lagos over efforts to shelve the expected seaport strike action scheduled to commence tomorrow.
As at the time of filing in this report, the FG who was ably represented by the Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers Council, Barrister Hassan Bello, is yet to convince the truckers and agents to shelve their strike tomorrow.
Most of the agents and truck owners associations demanded that unless they see earth moving caterpillars and tractors working on the chaotic ports access roads, the strike action will go on as planned tomorrow.
