Gospel singer, Femi Oladele, also known as Femi Solar, has been decorated by the National Association of Polytechnic Students (NAPS) with its 2016 National Outstanding Leadership Award.
The award, which was presented to him in his office days back, had the presence of NAPS executives on ground just as Solar, who released his latest album, Mercy Beyond months back, thanked NAPS for the recognition and promised not to rest on his oars.
Solar was given the award in recognition and appreciation of his outstanding contributions towards youths and students developmental projects.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Solar, who is known as a protege of Yinka Ayefele, described the award as “the best I have received so far.”
According to him,”today, it has been confirmed again that one should always strive to put in his best in whatever one does. I never knew this would come my way. I never expected it. That’s why I am overwhelmed by this award from NAPS and I dedicate this to the glory of God and my fans worldwide. This really made my year,” he said.
