All roads will tomorrow lead to Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library as music legend, Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye, a.k.a. KSA, will perform at Evangelist Ebenezer Obey-Fabiyi’s 75th birthday.
Just last year, KSA was accompanied by families and friends to dance to the tune of Obey’s music at his 70th birthday held in Ondo State. This time, fans are about to witness another stunning performance and display of love and togetherness between the music legends, who have piloted the juju music scene for over 50 years.
According to the information gathered by R, KSA and his band will be on hand to supply music as Ogun State stands still in honour of Ebenezer Obey in his country home.
KSA described Obey as a dear friend, adding that, “I am particularly grateful to God, because we remain faithful friends against all odds. We look forward to more prosperous years, because a life of 75 fruitful years with over 50 years of rewarding professional career look like yesterday.”
The event will commence with an interdenominational church service at Chapel of Christ the Glorious King (CCGK), at 10.00 a.m, and will be followed by reception and official launching of the Ebenezer Obey Music Foundation.
Ogun State governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, is the host, while the father of the day is former president Chief Olusegun Obasanjo. Sir Adebukola Adebutu Kessington is the chief launcher of the foundation targeted to giving young, talented artistes a platform in the music industry.
