AT a time when Nigerians are dying of hunger, some unpatriotic people are calling for another hike in fuel price.
Let it be clear that this government was not elected to make life miserable for the people, but to rescue them from years of neglect by past administrations.
I am happy that the government has come out to state that it has no plan to increase the price of fuel, and I want it to stick to that position.
Instead of contemplating increasing the price of fuel, the Federal Government should look at increasing investments in the oil sector, particularly by inviting investors to come and set up refineries in the country. The fact that we are an oil-producing nation will work to our advantage, and to attract investors, the government can provide them with tax holidays
