As subscribers get free gifts for “Ramadan Kareem” Pay tv service provider, StarTimes has again assured of its commitment to the objective of ensuring every Nigerian family can afford, access and enjoy digital television, even as it sets aside various gift items to reward its loyal subscribers in its ‘Ramadan Kareem Lucky Dip’.
The company’s Acting Brands and Marketing Director, Mr Qasim Elegbede, stated that with over 100 owned and authorized channels, creatively selected to appeal to every member of the family, the pay TV channel is more than ready to achieve the primary goal of democratising pay TV service in the country.
Besides being used to reward its loyal subscribers in Lagos, during the Ramadan period , the Ramadan Kareem Lucky Dip promo, he explained, was a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment to always identifying with the passion, culture and religion of its subscribers.
He explained that for a subscriber to qualify for the lucky dip, such subscriber must have recharged his decoder in any of the company’s Lagos business halls, starting from the Basic bouquet.
Elegbede explained further that new subscribers are also not left out of the gift splash as they stand to win gift items based on the product purchased.
“Our desire is to ensure that every Nigerian family can afford access and enjoy digital television with over 100 owned and authorised channels creatively selected to appeal to every member of the family,” he said.
He added that the digital-TV operator hoped to achieve that through its distribution network of 200 brand halls, 3,000 convenience stores and 5,000 distributors, covering 80 per cent of the continent’s population.
