SEVEN-YEAR-OLD Moses Iloba, who was kidnapped in Okpanam, near Asaba, Delta State on August 30, last year, has regained his freedom.
The child, later renamed Uchenna Chimobi, was recovered in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State following police investigation during which five persons were arrested.
They included one Abigail Nwakama (40) a.k.a. Madam Cash, Ifeoma Anyadike, Anothonia Onwugbusuie, Emeka Gabriel Ofodozie and Augustine Isiaguna.
Parading more than 22 suspects for various crimes in Asaba, the state police commissioner, Zanna Ibrahim lamented the return of Madam Cash to the police custody for similar offences she was arrested for in the past.
The police boss disclosed that the child was sold in Port-Harcourt, where he was given another name and that the buyers were still on the run.
