No fewer than 34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos from June 21 to July 8.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) stated this in its publication, ‘Shipping Position’, a copy of which was made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Lagos.
NPA said that the ships contained bulk wheat, bulk fertiliser, corn, sugar, coke, gas, gypsum, general cargo, steel products, empty container, base oil, frozen fish, petrol and containers laden with goods.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that seven ships had already arrive the ports waiting to berth with base oil, bulk gypsum, coke, fertiliser and petrol.
NAN reports that 14 other ships are at the ports discharging bulk wheat, salt, fertiliser, sugar, frozen fish, general cargo, base oil, petrol, general cargo, and containers.
