Confirming the arrest of the suspect to Lagos Metro, the image maker in charge of the state police command, Dolapo Badmos, said the suspect would be charged to court for obtaining money under false pretence.
The arrested suspect and others had reportedly collected a huge amount of money from fans of the actor under the guise of organising a film festival.

The state police boss, Fatai Owoseni, has directed the divisional police officer to charge the suspect to court and also ensure that other members of the gang were arrested
Owoseni also warned fraudsters that the command would do everything possible to stop such nefarious acts in the state.
